[snip] liblber seems to be part of OpenLDAP. These are the versions I have on my RedHat Linux 8.0 box: [rich@katrina rich]$ rpm -ql openldap | grep liblber /usr/lib/liblber.so.2 /usr/lib/liblber.so.2.0.17 [rich@katrina rich]$ rpm -q openldap openldap-2.0.27-2.8.0 I think you need to upgrade OpenLDAP or talk to the OpenLDAP people. Perhaps there is a newer release of OpenLDAP that would fix this problem?
