Dear Gurus, My name is Rongdian Lu with CA. On Suse SLES 8, we found that a problem with "who": If a user logged on thru console and open several terminal sessions, = both "w" and "who" list all session users, however, when we closed the = terminals other than the logon window, who still lists the entries, but = "w" delisted them, which is right. I found that utmp can detect if the terminal is closed or not either.=20 So could you guys tell me how "w" is written?=20 thanks, Ron=20
