I don't think so, though: the make install should install the lang.map 
you actually modified (then you might miss the corresponding .lang file 
if it wasn't installed, but the lang.map should be the one you 
modified...).  Are you sure you modified the lang.map in the source 
'src' directory, and not in the build directory?
