Stow - Can't locate Stow.pm

Hi. I downloaded and installed Stow 2.1.0 as follows:

./configure --prefix=/usr/local
make install prefix=/usr/local/stow/stow

To test I issued:

/usr/local/stow/stow/bin/stow --version

but I get:
