Hello Paulo, I agree too there is not much traffic on the list. The case I described was indeed share/info/dir which is the toplevel index for info pages. Should two packages have info pages, they will try to replace this file, leading to conflicts. As you pointed out, the solution is to rename the file. I personnally remove the previous stowed file since I do not use the toplevel index. All worked fine since then. Thanks for your help Paulo, Vincent Paulo J.
