some requests

I'd like to know if you are interested in those things to add
to your text-utils package:

- a patch of "split.c" that adds the option '--number=NUMBER'
     i.e. split file in NUMBER files. This may be 'dirty' for split
     because it breaks the 'stream philosophy' (we have to know the
     size before), but I think it should be useful for some users
     (like me ;)

- a Base64 stream decoder/encoder (for the moment very rough, but if
     if you are interested, I can arrange it better :)

send sources.
