Textutils-2.1 installation problem

Hello Bug Hunters,

I  got  hold  of textutils-2.1.tar.gz and configured the package
with  "--disable-nls"  as  configure's  sole   parameter.    The
following make (to be more precise, it was a "make -n") wouldn't
do anything, it'd simply hang.

   I've  tried it on a SGI and a Linux box: same result, nothing
happens.

   Help would be greatly appreciated!
