Hi, In any event, "man uuencode" will tell you the correct usage. On the theory that the .txt file is supposed to be one line containing: UUENCODE Test File your invocation of uuencode will produce exactly the sequence of characters that show up in the body of your email. You have to save that email and uudecode the result.
