The shar command is uuencoding some of the files in my archive, even though=
 I specified -text-files on the command line.  All of the files are all .cp=
p files.  I suspect the reason for this behavior is that some files have li=
ne length up to 288 characters.

Is there a way to force shar to never uuencode the files ?
