Need help with finding a link in a file.

Ubuntu XFCE.

Speech Note will not start from the Icon in the Menu.

But it will start from the "OPEN" link, in the Gnome Software Center - 
but the Software Center, can be a handful just to get running.... at times.

Where can the "Gnome Software Center" - "OPEN" link be found - in the 
Software Center files, so I can copy paste that, into the Menu Starter 
Icon - as the "COMMAND" code to start Speech Note?

It's not like I am lazy or stupid - but it is a difficult search, and I 
am not having much luck so far......
