yes, that's a known bug in 0.6.2; that's what vcdimager 0.7.x is for

did you create an empty 'SEGMENT' folder, and also a dummy-pbc?


I'll have to check mplayer for its SVCD support; but you might want to
checkout xine, as full (S)VCD support is being added to it...
