I'm not sure if you have the latest version or not. I meant to say that 
I think that usage of vcdimager may have dwindled since dvd burners and 
media are now inexpensive. Maybe newer versions of gcc don't like the 
source? If Herbert Valerio (the maintainer) is around perhaps he knows.
