Ah, the key binding. Well, for one it was never Ctr+1 before.
We changed all of the key bindings, and the old keys are now
used for new functions, sopopping up a warning message for them
is not possible. In particular 1 and 2, that used to be assigned to
the direct functions now pop up the move type-in.

BTW, the functions are not really gone, people could still define
their own key binding for them. This because the routine they were
bound to, AskQuestionProc, can also be called by the engine.
