some git problems/developer release soon

seems that there are some permission problems on the git server, at
least I can't push my latest commits (that is one worked, but the others
don't).

just FYI: Preparing a developer release and also got one commit that
fixes configure.ac and Makefile.am

In the mean time you can get those commits from my github mirror:
