For WinBoard I supply an extra language file for 'Shoginese', which is 
English where all phrases that contain the words "white" or "black" are 
'translated' to the same phrases with "sente" and "gote' substituted for 
those words.

Would it be possible to do something similar to XBoard, by supplying a 
file shogi.po or sg.po?
