Well, I pushed an even better one now. I includes an official GTK 
font-selector button. I never knew I could choose between so many fonts!

Perhaps I should have designed the whole dialog with 7 of these buttons, 
but I actually like the possibility to slightly adjust the point size 
with a single click. In addition, people are likely to select the 
typeface they prefer in many windows. So it seems convenient to select a 
font you like from the entire set once, and then just press the * 
buttons to assign it to multiple windows, rather than having to re-open 
the font-selector each time. Especially if you can adjust the size 
afterwards.
