Problem running fonttest in Chromium 1.6

Hi all,
    I just downloaded 1.6 onto a Linux box (RH9, kernel 2.4.20.8, ATI
fireGL 7800 video w/ATI driver). I didn't notice any errors in the
Chromium build, and the mothership, crserver, and crappfaker all started
without any errors (all 3 running on localhost, with the CR_MOTHERSHIP
env variable unset). The fonttest window appeared, but had no text in
it. I then killed the 3 apps, and noticed an error message from crserver
as it was dying that the total output area was 0x0. I don't know if this
message was an artifact of the app being killed, or associated with the
lack of rendered output.  Any suggestions as to what went wrong?
