Dist Texture

Hey all,

I was trying to get the dist_texture working under cvs and seem to be having a 
problem.  All my textures, and the one generated by the dist-texture example, 
seem to be written out incorrectly and are really just a jumbled mess.  I was 
wondering if this was still being supported, and what recent version of 
chromium might work with dist textures (i'm hoping not to go backrev too 
far).

Any information would be appreciated.
