Trying to get Demo working

Hi,
I know this is a basic question, but I can't quite figure it out.  I'm
trying to get the Chromium demo running on an Ubuntu Dapper machine.

I did:

python crdemo.conf atlantis &
crserver &
crappfaker

This last line gave me:
CR Warning(ASIMO:31336): Couldn't find the CRMOTHERSHIP environment
variable, defaulting to localhost
CR Error(ASIMO:31336): Bad Mothership response: Never heard of faker
host ASIMO.  Expected one of:
Terminated


my computer is named ASIMO is /etc/hosts, I have the line:
128.111.57.62   ASIMO

so, ASIMO should resolve to my local IP address right?

When I ran crserver, I got the error:
[4] 30866
CR Warning(ASIMO:30866): Couldn't find the CRMOTHERSHIP environment
variable, defaulting to localhost

Is there a reason why the crserver on localhost couldn't talk to a
faker host on ASIMO?
