One way to investigate this problem is to update your local copy of the
CEL's trunk to the revision r4773 and see if the problems appear. Then
update it to r4774 and you may test the difference in behavior and know
whether or not this is the implicated revision.

Yes, that's probably the most cleanest way to deal with a given problem.

For this, you would use the error reporting system of CEL at
http://trac.crystalspace3d.org/trac/cel/report. You would first need to
receive the rights to create a new ticket, and it appears that I don't
have the rights to do it by myself. Can someone else do it?
