DrawFromNode() is called from the method GetRenderMeshes(), and this
later is the method that is used at each frame by the rendering engine
to get the list of meshes to be displayed.

AddNode() seems to be only used internally by DrawFromNode() and others.

The 'waterdemo2' application is very simple, and loads mainly the water
mesh defined in the XML file at the VFS path '/lev/oceantest/world', ie
the real path 'CS/data/oceantest/world'.

The real places where you should mainly work are the plugin in
'CS/plugins/mesh/watermesh', and the shaders that are in
'CS/data/shaders/water'.
