Remove support for MSVC 8 (Visual Studio 2005)?

Hi all,

Is it time to now drop support for MSVC 8 (2005) and it's project files from 
trunk?

This version has limited target support and I would assume most if not all 
developers on the Windows platform are now using newer versions to target 
newer Windows versions on both x86 and x64.
