Hello Christian and Stefano,

I have updated http://crystalspacegeodesicsphere.tumblr.com/, and I have
been going over the crystal space source and learning how to use libnoise.
So far the integration seems to be very straight forward. Currently though
I think that the sphere mesh should be a separate mesh than the terrain2
mesh. I am not sure I would be able to modify the way that the terrain2
currently works, since all of the samples are done in XZ, and the sampling
for the simulation will need to include the plane, XZ coordinates on that
plane and then the XYZ in the crystal space environment. So I am going to
start working on the independant header for the planet generator, and
figure out how to use the existing version of the sampling with maybe a few
small modifications, for example being able to draw the points on the
sphere with the XZ information from the terrain generator.

As for the features on the sphere, there is still fine tuning to be done as
you can clearly tell, I need to rethink the seam, and the features on the
sphere are clearly exaggerated and not very believable as actual terrain.
So I am going to continue to figure out how the rest of the library works
to allow different types of terrain to be built.

Also the version I uploaded to github, and the current version has a lot of
unnecessary code. However I reduced some pieces already but ideally the
information for all the vertices will be stored as a single array so that
the renderer doesn't have to be modified, and I started working on the
normal solver.

So hopefully the next couple of days will result in a smoother surface, and
the start of the actual plugin, in a proper class.

One final thing, https:// did work, so as soon as the code is more
presentable I will upload to the repository. But as long as all goes well
that shouldn't be too much longer from now.

Get your SQL database under version control now!
Version control is standard for application code, but databases havent
caught up. So what steps can you take to put your SQL databases under
version control? Why should you start doing it? Read more to find out.
