I'm sorry, your proposal has been much ignored so far.

Your project idea seems interesting, though.

The main concern I have is that this would a priori need to be
implemented as a new render manager, although there are already 4 in CS
and that they are not compatible with one another. Maybe this can be
overcame one day by adding in CS the ability to use several render
managers at the same time, eg one per different render priority?

Anyway, you can go on and submit your project proposal on Google
Melange.

Do you have some ideas on the way you would implement that in CS? Do you
want to discuss that here?
