Hi all,

For next years GSoC and onwards if we get accepted of course.

Proposal:

Rather than documenting GSoC ideas in a wiki (as done now) and
conversation by email etc. Why don't those wishing to put forward ideas
submit them to our ticket system?

This will allow:

* Ideas to get more eyes on them and maybe get better peer review.
* All discussion and changes will be public. These tickets can also
  be used for milestone / progress tracking if accepted.
* People will be easily be able to find all ideas and not duplicate /
  waist their time.
* These tickets will be a good learning tool for future years as a
  reference for students and mentors.
