Hi,

As promised, I worked a little on implementing a proposed new
CrystalSpace website using Drupal. I wasn't able to spend as much time
with that as I hoped to, but anyway, here is what I have done so far:

* Set up a local Drupal instance.

* Developed the beginnings of a CrystalSpace Drupal theme, which is
similar to the mockups I sent here. The general layout is mostly done,
but many aspects (e.g. the main page) still need to be tuned considerably.

* Wrote a stub for an About page. It is just the beginning and not very
polished yet, but it's a start.

* Integrated the Advanced Forums module [1] and started to style it.
Advanced Forums uses the standard Drupal forum as backend, which can
import SMF forum data indirectly by importing from a phpbb, which in
turn can import from SMF. It has to be tried if this works well.

I have attached some screenshots which show how the page looks
currently. Hope you like it.

Regards,
Denis Washington

P.S.: I would like to know if it is really possible to go the Advanced
Forums route (much easier to style and integrate, e.g.
user-account-wise) or have to set up an SMF instance and integrate that
into Drupal somehow (much harder; user account integration is difficult
and likely error-prone, and SMF template styling is wack), so I need to
know how good the data import works. Is there any chance that I can get
some sort of sample from your SMF database to test that? If that isn't
possible for privacy reasons etc that's ok, I'll put together some dummy
sample data myself then and try it out.
