On my linux machine it seems that a transparent material created like
this:
{{{
<texture name='blue'>
<color red="0" green="1" blue="1" alpha=".2" />
</texture>
<material name="blue">
<texture>blue</texture>
</material>
}}}
is not working properly. The material simply isn't transparent. On my
windows box this works fine so it looks like a driver specific bug most
likely. I attach the output of -verbose=-scf and a test level. The test
level is an adaptation of cornell/world where the boxes have this blue
material.
