#961: Can't create soft bodies in phystut2
-----------------------------------+----------------------------------------
Reporter: domi | Owner: admin
Type: defect | Status: new
Priority: minor | Milestone:
Component: other applications | Version: V2.1
Keywords: phystut2, soft bodies |
-----------------------------------+----------------------------------------
Comment(by domi):
I fixed the issue:
The problem occurs in the OnInitilize method, when the
"softBodyAnimationType" reference is allocated on the stackframe (so it
will be gone by the time, the factory created from it, will be used). Soft
bodies can be created just fine, if we save the "softBodyAnimationType"
reference. For now, I put it into the application object (class Simple).
However, the problem should not occur under these circumstances, so it
must actually be rooted in faulty allocation or referencing inside the
"softanim2" plugin.
