Hi Gerald, my feedback, shooting from the hip. wonderful worlds! great to see and feel these critters wander around, sometimes helplessly. almost feel sorry for some of them. then again, what can i do? keep up the good work! "bodies can't learn to walk", can't? or can? like the term Body Building - keep it. in the red-blue example, i see two joints (the small spheres)? then how are the other connections joined? by invisible joints? about the muscles and cycles: although i understand the clock-like graphic explaining the various frequencies and behaviours, i prefer the sine waves of rgb superimposed on the same time scale. e.g. it would instantly show me the kick-like behaviour of the green muscle (and reminds me of the heart pulsating worlds, including their sound. also, you can play not only with frequency but also with amplitude. your using a lot of !s in your text! what's really important? about Darwinian evolution: throw in some Kaufmann's "order for free" and let this new chaordic world evolve even more natural. "Your computer is making these discoveries": i'd see Fluidiom is doing that. She deserves it. "blue balls": give a somewhat more "personal" touch: replace "balls" with "creatures" or "critters" or "criples", whatever. consider supporting an autoprune option (to keep the tree shallower automatically). after all, is there any interest in these blue critters? about the mutation: how exactly are they done? it seems that you almost always get some tensegrity construction made of "tri-meshes". wonder if Fluidiom will ever give birth to a sphere that rolls across the world in high speed... about the family trees: consider showing a simple tree-like list with offspring (with a small graphic image of the critter) (akin to Windows Explorer). "Each Fluidiom world has its own physics": would like to see a small status window/area listing these characteristics. can i tweak these world's physics? can i create my own worlds? the descriptions of the worlds are very vivid and imaginable, only to be augmented by the subtle sounds. immersive. excellent. now, my critter wants to buy a space ship and migrate to another world. will she be able to survive? is that in the next mutation? btw, get in touch with guszti eiben, he can help you set up multi-sexual reproduction ;-) Succes en plezier, Martien.
