printf function with table

Hello,
I am trying to do
set table
plot [100:200] sprintf ("%13.6f, %g", x, f(x)) with table
warning: 'with table' requires a data source not a pure function
warning: encountered a string when expecting a number
Did you try to generate a file name using dummy variable x or y?
But I cannot make it works
