Mint pulls all of its Qt stuff (and a load more besides) directly from 
Ubuntu. Which is why I am saying it's an Ubuntu problem, not a Mint one. 
Hence why I have filed a bug report with Ubuntu.

On lrelease. That seems to be in qt6-l10n-tools, or qtchooser, which I 
am guessing manages a symlink in /usr/bin/.

The moc stuff (as well as your earlier comment about uic?) seems to be 
provided by the qt6-base-dev-tools package.
