can you get rid of .thm files once they're in there

I have several .thm files with .crw files.  I realize now that when I 
run the databse wizard and load new images you can have imatch ignore 
those files.  But I have about 50 of them, located in different 
folders, and it's annoying to have to deal with them.  Is there a 
wauy to get Imatch to ignore these .thm files even though they've 
already been scanned?  I can't seem to just do a "remove from 
database" as they are in different folders, and images I need are 
also in those same folders.  Would rescanning work, or would it only 
ignore new .thm files?  thanks.
