The IMatch review in Luminous Landscape was very positive.

How many use the workflow the author talked about? Putting all new
images in a "New Image" folder and letting IMatch auto scan it adding
them to the database and assigning them to the Unassigned Category?
I've been creating a folder for each shoot and then adding it to the
database but this "one folder" method sounds like a good idea. Why
bother with multiple folders when the IMatch category system can keep
track? When the folder gets up to the size of a DVD burn it and
relocate all the images.
What do you think?
Thanks,
Tom
