Ok, I want the stick now to beat the dead horse...

You might want to check out the links at the bottom of the forum index  
page.
VIEW RECENT MESSAGES seems very handy to me. You can quickly scan the  
topics and read whichever message you like.
Or, using Opera as your browser, email and RSS feed client, you have  
everything in one application. I have not noticed an increase in time for  
browsing through the messages of the RSS feed. But again, what is wrong  
with spending a little more time on something you are interested in?

I think the forum has one major advantage compared to the Yahoo forum.  
It's search function. If anyone is short on time, this really is a  
timesaver. Of course it's only as good as the users input, but I guess in  
about 6 months it will be a fantastic resource for quick troubleshooting,  
looking for tips of one particular problem you might have, etc..
