Greetings.

I have only recently started to try out IMatch.  As such, I have 
been reading the posts on Yahoo! and also on the new forum.

First off, I would like to commend you on the great job that you 
have done with the program.  I can't imagine how many hours you have 
spent to include such rich functionality.  And from what I 
understand, this is not your full time job!  That is truly amazing.  
I pray that your social life has not taken a backseat to all of this.

Second, I have been in the IT business for almost 20 years.  Since 
the days of the TRS-80 (TRASH 80), Commodore 64, and Apple II (the 
keyboard computer).

One thing that I have noticed over this time is that people 
(including myself) usually hate change.  Once they get used to 
something, its about as hard as pulling teeth to get them to move to 
something newer.  Even GUI systems, such as MS Windows, took years 
to break into the mainstream.  Now Windows is on over 90% of every 
system sold.

I am seeing this same phenomenom with the move to the forums.  
People have gotten used to receiving emails, and the world be damned 
if they are going to change!  Well, you know what - most of them 
will change.  Because times change.

As you said, UBBThreads is a major piece of software that is used by 
many websites.  I have subscribed (and still do) to many sites that 
use that software.  I believe that it was a good choice.  IMHO, the 
search engine is the major benefit (the Yahoo! one sucked bigtime).

I would suggest that you don't take this personally.  It is just the 
way most humans are.

After a while, things will subside and will get back to "normal" 
(whatever that is).

I'm one that appreciates you trying to make your product the best it 
can be.

P.S.: Unfortunately the same thing will happen when the next major 
version will come out.
