IMatch ships with a script called, 
        Copy IMatch Categories into IPTC categories
Look in the scripting Manager under the IPTC category.

This script works well.  I use it for all my images.

Personally I have been using IMatch for nearly a year now.  I bought
the registered version when my evaluation period was up.  I took a
look at the Picasa WEB site and decided not to download and try Picasa.  

After being used to the power and flexability of IMatch I could never
go backwards for the sake of cosmetic appearances.
