An approach I've found very effective is to use Gmail as the delivery
address for all the emails - I've been doing it for some time with
Yahoo groups based lists and I've just converted the imatch stuff over
so it gets the digest messages for all the forums on the new scheme.

The big things with using my Gmail account are
1) I set up rules to automatically categorize the mail as it arrives
so I can keep my various interests (photography, alpacas, embroidery,
computers etc) separated out from the conventional inbox muddle
2) it has the google search engine buried underneath gmail somewhere
so searching for archived items becomes very easy - this was my main
reason for using gmail originally as it got me away from that cornball
search support in Yahoo groups
