Hi Shaharyaar,
I've looked at your application. It looks like you've spent some time
thinking about what you want to do and the schedule looks fine. I've
got a few comments:
* Your missing some details that are requested at:
http://wiki.inkscape.org/wiki/index.php/SOC_Application_Template And a
few of the items could be expanded on.
* We are quite strict about the "Two Patch Rule". Have you submitted
patches to Inkscape? (I see from the earlier emails that you've been
able to build Inkscape, which is quite a big first step.) This does not
have to be done before the end of the application period but it does
need to be done before we request slots from Google (April 22nd).
* Code refactoring is quite important and moving files into a better
directory structure is a big part of that. I would like to see,
however, more code based refactoring in the plan. For example,
converting C widgets to C++ widgets.
