Inkscape Scatter Extension Error

Hi,

I was trying to use the Scatter Extension with the 1.0 Alpha version, following this tutorial:

It works fine with the latest stable release, but with this alpha version when I tick the live preview checkbox it displays the following error message:



I have rebuilt three times (twice on windows, once on Linux (Ubuntu 18.04) ), but the error still there. Is there an easy way to fix this?
