cannot get "ipe-update-master" running

Hi All,

I finally found "ipe-update-master" script on the Linux distribution of Ipe,
however, when I tried to run this "lua ipe-update-master mytex.tex", it
showed a lot of erros:

: ipe-update-master:30: module 'ipe' not found:
        no field package.preload['ipe']
        no file './ipe.lua'
        no file '/usr/local/share/lua/5.1/ipe.lua'
        no file '/usr/local/share/lua/5.1/ipe/init.lua'
        no file '/usr/local/lib/lua/5.1/ipe.lua'
        no file '/usr/local/lib/lua/5.1/ipe/init.lua'
        no file './ipe.so'
        no file './libipe51.so'
        no file '/usr/local/lib/lua/5.1/ipe.so'
        no file '/usr/local/lib/lua/5.1/libipe51.so'
        no file '/usr/local/lib/lua/5.1/loadall.so'

How should I run this script correctly? I am using Fedora 8.
