Toolbar views

I have just started using IPE 6 and I am having some trouble
navigating. I basically would like to have pointed arrows.
The IPE manual says that the path toolbar should have a setting
regarding this, but I could not find this toolbar. I am able to add an
<arrow> attribute to the XML of the path object, but the arrow is not
facing tangential to the path.
