I have created IPE files with dozens of diagrams by importing PDFs created with another software. I want to edit them and e. g. remove all objects (same size, but on different positions on all pages) like <path matrix="0.5 0 0 0.5 11.0412 -31.1381" fill="1" fillrule="wind"> 316 797 m 406 797 l 406 875 l 316 875 l 316 797 l h </path> or change then line width (pen) for all objects like (=same size and properties, but different positions) <path matrix="0.5 0 0 0.5 37.9741 -32.7541" stroke="0" pen="1" cap="2"> 311.5 791.5 m 311.5 879.5 l 411.5 879.5 l 411.5 791.5 l 311.5 791.5 l </path> to 0.5 and so on. As my knowledge of regular expressions and shell scripting is very very limited, I wonder if there are "more intuitive" ways for unexperienced users to edit such information in a XML file. I've seen that there are lots of XML editors which can display the contents of a XML file in a structured (sometimes even "graphical") way. Is there one (available for MacOS X, or Windows XP) which has a GUI where I can browse the contents of an XML file and also filter only those elements with certain properties and find/replace text in (only!) those elements or completely delete them? Does anyone here use an XML editor with GUI to edit IPE files?
