Is it possible to create a "parametric" zig zag line for technical drawings?

I wonder if it is possible to create an object in IPE which looks like that:
http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/1/18/Trait_continu_fin_zigzag.png

 which is "parametric", so can be extended or shortened and automatically
gets its recurring "spikes".
