ipe is a great drawing software and I have used it for years. Thanks for making such a great open source tool.

Features desired:
pattern filling for objects (circle, polygon, rectangle, etc.). gnuplot has good implementation for pattern filling and can be used as a reference. This feature is good for printing. Color filling sucks when being printed. Pattern filling would be great for printing.
