IPE 7.1.5 - IPElets do not work any more

Hi,

with IPE 7.1.5 (the DMG version from
http://skylink.dl.sourceforge.net/project/ipe7/ipe/7.1/ipe-7.1.5-mac.dmg
) on MacOS X 10.6, some of the IPElets which I could successfully use before
IPE 7.1.4 produce an error during startup so that I can not launch IPE.

The LUA code of the IPElets is attached to this message.

There seems to be a problem with the \A string, as I get e. g. the following
error in the console:
