Re: Ipe spontaneously downgrades

Maybe you could try deleting /Applications/Ipe.app and installing Ipe
7.1.8 to a different location and see what happens.  In Mac OS, you can
drag the Ipe bundle to an arbitrary place in your file system, it
doesn't have to be in /Applications.
