Re: isometric projection grid

Such grids are currently not offered by Ipe.

What you can do is to draw such a grid into a layer, lock the layer, and
use it to create your drawing (intersection snapping would give you
snapping to the grid vertices).   You can reuse the same layer for all
your drawings where you need this.

Note that the function of the 60-degree grid is nearly entirely
available through angular snapping and auto-angular snapping.  Set the
grid angle to 60 degrees, and the coordinate direction to vertical (turn
on a grid, set the coordinate center to some grid point by pressing F1,
then go to some grid point vertically above the center and press F2).   
  If you turn on auto-angular snapping (F9), all your lines will be
aligned with the isometric grid.  (See
