So you converted the file with ipe6upgrade, and when you open it with
Ipe 7, Ipe crashes?

Please open a bug report at https://github.com/otfried/ipe-issues/issues
and attach the problematic file (ideally both the original Ipe 6 file
and the result of converting it).
