How to increase size of small window which appear when clicking icon "A" (Text Lables)

I use the button "A" to add all my latex to the drawing.

But the window which pops up is too small and I can't
make it wider using the mouse. it is fixed in size.
This makes it hard to enter lots of Latex as the
lines wrap around as I type.

Is there an option to make this window wider? It should
really be such that one can adjust its size using the
mouse as needed.

I googoled but hard to find information on this.

On a side note:

It will be nice if there is a link the PDF
manual for IPE at this page
http://ipe.otfried.org/manual/manual.html

It is very hard to find the PDF manual for IPE
(which is easier to search than the HTML pages,
since the pages are broken up). I looked everywhere
in http://ipe.otfried.org/ but could not find the PDF
file, only HTML pages. I had to use google to find
copy of the PDF at other site.
