text outside textbox not shown in pdf

Hi,
in older versions of ipe text that would "fall" outside the designated
textbox would still appear in the pdf document. Using the current version
(7.2.7 on Ubuntu 17.04) this is no longer the case (it still appears within
ipe).

Normally the issue can be solved by making the textbox wider, but when
using the itemize environment with a large item bullet (I use it with
numbers) part of the text lies outside the box by construction (the
bullet). Is there a way to fix this?
